These images, by photographers of the Farm Security Administration/Office of War Information, are some of the only color photographs taken of the effects of the Depression on America’s rural and small town populations. The photographs are the property of the Library of Congress and were included in a 2006 exhibit Bound for Glory: America in Color.

Also, check out Chalmers Butterfield.
My grandma has photo albums of my grandpa's pictures from WWII, some of them looking like they're straight out of a Normal Rockwell book, who happens to be my favorite artist. I will be scanning and uploading these at some point this week.

Honestly, this is one of the most beautiful photos I've ever seen.
I'm sure this goes without say but this makes me giddy.
My grandma has photo albums of my grandpa's pictures from WWII, some of them looking like they're straight out of a Normal Rockwell book, who happens to be my favorite artist. I will be scanning and uploading these at some point this week.

I'm going to make an attempt to start scanning tomorrow.
