we at the bop are having a biiiiig gunner game for the falling bop/sRs. old frat if yall can come in and have fun for that game i thank you if you can let us no at bop 10/27/12 at 7 est usa

Interesting this topic showed up today... Last night I was giving serious consideration to setting up a virtual server to run DC and other games on... but I will need some assistance on it technically... What you think geNius?? we can host BF3, DC, BF4, etc.. If we move forward with this I will lease it for a year, giving time for more donations to accumulate...

this sounds pretty cool :) What a can you run on virtual servers? Anything? Can you pick Windows / Linux?

Let me rephrase that term, this would be a dedicated server... my bad.. what ever you want as OS, I am assuming we would go with Linux, since Windows does not support DC

Windows supports DC, or at least it did in the past. I still have all the modded maps and configs for DC if you want. I'm only home Friday - Sunday afternoons, so let me know if you decide to go for it.

The NEW windows server software does not support it, that is why I need to work with you on it. I will find out what the issues are, then get back to you on it.
