Easter Approaches.... which as everyone knows means candy and looking for Eggs.

 

 

For me the best part of easter is the Cadburry Eggs. Muie Muie Delicious.

 

Anyone have favorite easter traditions or foods?

Well, I will improvise because Easter is shortly after passover. My folks are jewish, so I get lumped in there.

My favorite part is when have brisket and turkey. We also read the passover book (Hagada). My dad has shortened this from 3 hours to 1, over the years. We have a Canadian friend read the passage about Moses lifting his rod to part the Red Sea and how he lifts his rod twice in one night (they are very impressed by this)

Then we sing songs in Hebrew that no one remembers the words to. Which by the end of the night, were on like the 4th cup of wine, so it is amusing.

Oh - also, there are multiple jokes about the impacts of eating matzo for a week has on your digestive system.

So, even though I am atheist, it is fun

Hmm, one of my favorite parts is the paska buns and butterhorns my mother bakes. Delicious. Me love the traditional Mennonite foods.

1.5 days of load-in, 1/2 day of rehearsal, 2 Easter services and a load-out in a day....All overtime. Yay Easter. What are we celebrating?

I feel that yelling "let my people go!" should be a perfectly acceptable reply to end nearly any argument during lent/passover/easter time.
