OK, been working on it and I figured out that its not my HD, but my Video card. I swapped both out in my fathers pc and was happy to have saved my data but my vid card was shot.

Well it was a pci (period) but I have agp on my mb. However I dont know the status of mb yet. I will figure out tomorrow and thanks everyone for even entertaining the idea of helping me out. It is very much appreciated.
