*1/1/16: revised to make certain rules inactive*

Now in combined-o-vision! Listed below are the main rules we have in sRs. These are kept really short and sweet. For the common sense impaired, rules 4, 5, and 7 are expanded upon in subsequent posts.

- Adhere to the things we covered with you when you joined.
- Support your guild members. Never leave a member behind - help whenever possible and within reason.
- Leave any drama out of guild chat. We don't expect people to like each other 100% of the time, but we do expect people to act like adults and resolve any issues as such.
- In PvP / Mini Games / Sieges - Adhere to the golden rule
- Fulfill your responsibilities in recruitment of new members - provide feedback on applications and identify potential recruits, as appropriate. Resources for this can be found in the AoC Application Review forum.
- Be a considerate raider - know your role (do it well), understand our raid invite policy, loot rules, and DKP system
- Remember - above all - RL always comes first!

Misc things that aren't really "rules":
- Current AoC Leadership: http://www.srejects....ship-structure/
- Ibis & T3 Crafting Queue and T3 Crafting Resources: http://www.srejects....g-queue-ver-20/
- What to Know if You Decide To Share Your Account: http://www.srejects....t-here/?p=13056

Multi Guilding on Set
This is a no no. All toons must be in Social Rejects. The only exception to this is if your holding a guild city on an alt for an inactive guild.

Having Alts on Other Servers
If you kept a character on Fury, you do not need to notify us - as long as its in Social Rejects.

We will allow you to join other guilds on Fury... provided two things:

- You tell us what your doing. Meaning, if your putting in a toon in Req Nex, we better have a PM about it on the forums
- There better be no question on where you spend the majority of your time. Meaning, you spend most of your time on Set helping us to rebuild

Transferring Servers & Leaving the Guild
This is still the same. If you decide Crom or the Social Rejects are not for you, your spending the majority of your time with another guild, etc - the following will happen:

- Your alts will be removed from Social Rejects
- Your forum account will be set to "Registered User", which removes access to the Internal Forums.
- Your DKP will be reset to 0

When / if you decide to come back (provided you left on good terms) - post up an application, we'll find you a sponsor, and the application process will proceed as normal.

The Not Fun Stuff
Following this process is something that's really easy to do. All you need to do is communicate your intentions. Listed below are reasons that would cause someone to not leave on good terms.

- Transferring / leaving with a T3 Crafted Weapon that's less than 3 months old
- Not telling an officer and feigning ignorance
- Trying to change your "main" prior to transferring it to another server
- Any other type of weaseldicking around this rule. We've done our best to make sure this is fair for all, and easy for people to come back. If someone tries some unforeseen way to take advantage of this rule, or the officers, we will take this personally and the consequences will be harsh

If you have any questions on this, please contact me

PvP Rules

There's no way to spell this out 100%, as every situation is different. However, these guidelines should give you a very good understanding of what is acceptable (and not acceptable)

Always Do Your Best
- Just because someone is a guildie, does not mean they get a free ride.
- Choose your targets and strategy based on what it takes to win.
- If you ask members of your team (or others team) to "let me focus Soandso because they called me bad in global", don't be surprised or hold it against them when they don't .

Adhere to the Golden Rule
- We all know what this means. Don't be an asshole to your guild mates.
- Chasing someone down in a mini and fanning them can be considered gloating (it depends on how well you know the person) When in doubt, don't do it.
- Pad camping someone is also a dickish move. Pad Camping is when someone is at the pad, standing there, not fighting back (obviously admitting defeat). Guild members may also ask for you to "cap it out" when you are in a mini. Pad Camping IS NOT when a group is fighting from the pad, taking the flag there, etc. The pad is not home free.
- Taunting people in Global / Guild chat should be kept to a minimum. Meaning, one to two comments (at most) and then stop. These are obviously situational based on how well you know the person(s), so some discretion is needed.

Be a Good Sport
- If you win (or lose), don't be a douche bag about it. Meaning, don't gloat about it and don't dissect people in Guild Chat / Global on what they could have done better, as this can be taken as criticism. If you have constructive feedback for someone, talk to them in tells. Be sure to use tact with this, as all people are different and some are more open to feedback than others.
- There's many ways to play this game and everyone has an opinion. Don't think you are a "god / goddess" among your class because there is always someone better at certain things. Don't take things personally if someone has a different opinion than you.
- If someone says something in Global / Guild Chat, you should not immediately go on the defensive. With text, many times we misunderstand the way someone intends certain comments. Either ask for clarification IN TELLS or let it roll off your shoulder.
- There is no nice way to PvP. If someone kills you, joins another side in a siege, etc., it should never be taken personally. There's many ways to play this game.

Never Bring Drama to Guild Chat
- This is self explanatory and there is no excuse for it. Even though you are in the throws of full blown nerd rage and feel you have all the justification of a saint, to everyone else it looks like the whining of a 5 year old who had their favorite toy taken away.
- If an officer or I see it, do not be surprised if we address it with you in guild chat - and it will likely not be pretty. If you start it in vent and we catch it, it will probably be worse.
- If it continues, do not be surprised when we remove you from the guild.

Act Like an Adult
- With one exception, we are all over 18. Act like it. If you have an issue with someone, work it out with them one on one.
- If you find you continuously rage about PvP, take a break. If you come back and it still makes you angry, take a longer break. If it still makes you angry even after all that, stop pvping entirely. Basically, if you cant stand the heat, get out of the damn kitchen.
- Reserve engaging an officer (or me) for extreme situations only. If you bring a situation to us that we feel you could have handled yourself, you will be in "just as much trouble" as the other person. We ALL hate dealing with these issues and especially hate tattling.
- There is also more than one officer. If one of us is in the middle of leading a raid / siege / 6 man group, talk to a different one. We all handle these issues the same way.

You Are Not Batman
- Don't act like a vigilante. If someone does something you don't like, don't "do it back to them". Meaning, don't pad camp them back, talk shit to them in tells, refuse to heal them, etc., in the name of "justice"
- You will be held accountable to the same rules everyone else is.

I will add one more caivat about sieging. As our rules state, red is dead, we have no allies. However, please remember that for every action, there is a consequence, and usually I deal with them. All I am asking is for you to think about what your actions say when you pick a side. If you feel your action will cause me grief, please give me a heads up so I can be prepared for dealing with QQ. Generally speaking, unless your supporting Ghost Seiging (I feel this falls under the golden rule thing), I really don't care what side you join. I think the crying is hilarious and it makes me proud :)

Beginner's Guide to Raiding

Part One - Pre-Raid
Ensure you are familuar with the zone. If you have not been to a specific raid instance before, do your homework. We have many strats and guides posted on the PvE section of our website. There is no reason that anyone should come to a raid totally unprepared. If you need us to, we will give you a high level overview of the fight, but you are expected to "keep up" with the rest of the raid.

Part Two - Raid Form Up Time
Invites will begin at the raid start time, or slightly before to ensure we can start on time. Please note we do not support sign ups, as we have less drama without them.

It is solely up to the Raid Leader's discretion on how invites are extended. We do not use a calendar to "reserve spots" or post a sign up. To have the best chances of being invited to a raid, show up early, bring a class you know we are usually short on, and dont continue to pester the raid leader about being invited. They know you are there :)

Invites are very difficult decisions for a Raid Leader - and its not always a clear cut decision. Sometimes, even if you are a regular raider or were there the night before, you may be asked to switch classes or sit one out. This is never, ever a personal insult. The Raid Leader likely feels horrible for asking you. The Raid Leader is trying to do the best they can to fit everyone in the raid, ensure it can be successful, and keep it balanced. They also try to give some people a chance who sit out week after week. Please don't take it personally and understand they will try to make it up to you on the next raid.

Under no circumstances during raid form up should you join a new mini, join a new 6 man group, etc. This is inconsiderate to your Raid Leader and guild mates, as it only delays the raid from being fully formed. You will lose your spot in the raid if this occurs. For repeated offenses, you may no longer be extended invites to raids.

If you know you will be late, contact the Raid Leader ahead of time. While they cannot promise to guarantee your spot, they can try to make a reasonable accommodation for you.

Part Three - Raid Start Time & Entering Raid Instances
Wait for the raid leader to tell you to zone in. Usually with T4 (since we form in the lobby and cant see each other), this should happen immediately, so the RL can see who is waiting easier. If unsure, just ask in raid chat and someone will tell you.

Part Four - Trash Pulls
Through out the entire raid, it's important for you to listen to the directions that your Raid Leader is giving. This includes what to pull, when to pull, where to be and how to successfully execute the raid. Sometimes trash pulls in a raid are easy mode, sometimes they are not. A general rule thumb is to listen to what the rest of the raid is doing. If people are laughing and joking around, its generally OK to do so - just don't be excessive and talk over others. If its quite and people are calling out CC's, asking for help, etc, this is not a good time to start idle chatter.

However, at any time, if the Raid Leader calls for quite or provides and instruction, it should be followed.

Part Five - Boss Fight Preparation
This is the most important part of the raid, entirely. At this time it is ever so important for you to keep Vent clear so the Raid Leader can go over the strategy for a successful first knock of a raid boss. Generally during this time, the Raid Leader will assign duties, such as who is tanking, who is healing the main tank and which DPS groups that the rest of the raid will be assisting. If you do not understand what you are doing, now is a good time to speak up and get your questioned clarified. You might be a little scared to ask for help, but it is better for you to ask now then it is for you to wipe the raid group because you are not sure what you are doing. This is a fantastic time to refresh your buffs if need be.

There should be no idle chatter, sound bytes, or other shenanigans in Vent during this time under any circumstances.

Part Six - Boss Fight
By now the Raid Leader has gone over what is to be done during the boss fight. You should know what you are doing and what your responsibilities are. With a silent Vent with only the Raid Leader and assigned individuals talking...the raid should be a success.

Again, there should be no idle chatter, sound bytes, or other shenanigans in Vent during this time under any circumstances. Repeated offenses of this will result in removal from the raid. If the behavior continues to be repeated, this may be permanent.

Part Seven - Resurrecting after a Wipe/Death on a Boss
It goes without saying that during the trash pulls, if you die, you should resurrect immediately and return to action. However, during a boss fight it is imperative that you stay dead if you die. Do not call for a Conq rez, the only person to do that is the Raid Leader. If we, by chance, wipe on a raid boss you are to stay dead until the Raid Leader gives the ok to rez. Again, this is common sense as you should listening to the directions given to you by the raid leader regardless of your experience in raiding.

Part Eight - Loot
Everyone loves loot. It shows the other people in the game that you are successful in what you do. It also gives you nifty little buffs and what-nots. Sometimes it even matches the color in your eyes.

Loot rules are specified at the beginning of the raid. Please see >> DKP / Loot Rules << to review the different rule set. Generally speaking, the Raid Leader will also remind you throughout the raid what to roll on, and what not to. Pay attention and they wont steer you wrong. If you are still unclear, ask them and they will advise you.

At no time during the raid should you complain or argue with the Raid Leader about loot or the rule set. All this will accomplish is irritating the Raid Leader, as they will not adjust the loot rules during a raid. Depending on the severity, you may be removed from the raid or, in extreme cases, the guild. It will be the Raid Leader's discretion. If you have constructive criticism on the DKP System, utilize our wonderful forum system that Genius slaves night and day over to discuss your ideas in a calm, rational fashion (i.e. posts saying "DKP sux0rz" is not constructive and may be removed)

Part Nine - Moving On
If the raid is a multi-part raid, you should be prepared to go to another instance, or another wing of the raid. You should NOT ask if we are doing another raid. This deters the Raid Leader from wanting to go, by pushing them to do something that they might not be prepared for, or that the raid make-up might not be suitable for. If there is another scheduled raid then you should start heading out to the next instance. If you are confused, re-read from Part One on.

If the raid is not a multi-part raid, your free to go pvp, do 6 mans, or flower picking, as your heart desires

Non Guilded Members Sharing Account Info
If you let a non-member play your toon, then you to need to remove that toon from guild while this happens. YOU MUST INFORM THE OFFICERS OF THIS BEFORE DOING IT. This character can be re invited when the officers are satisfied that no one who is not a member is using that character. And by satisfying the officers, I do mean ERP. Or naked pics of Nozcof (for Genius).

If you fail to remove this toon and an officer has to do it for you, you will also receive a warning. Do it again, and you will be removed from the community.

While the toon is un-guilded, it is unable to join any other guild. If one of your alts is found to be in another guild, you will be immediately removed from the community.

NB: AT ALL TIMES, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTIONS OF ANY CHARACTER ATTRIBUTED TO YOU AS AN ALT. LEND YOUR ACCOUNT AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Alts
All of your alts must be added to the bot, with no exceptions. Periodic roster cleanups will remove characters from the guild roster who have not logged in thirty days or who are not registered as alts of a known member.

DKP / Loot While Sharing Account Info
If you use another member's characters for a 6-man or raid, it is up to that group if you will be eligible for loot - so you need to ask. In a raid setting, if it is decided you are eligible for loot, you will earn DKP on YOUR main, but you will spend the DKP of the OTHER MEMBER. Please work out any arrangements with that individual regarding DKP spending limits prior to them raiding.

If you are going to entrust your character and DKP to another player, understand you are completely responsible for that character and for your own DKP. The officer/member running the raid will take no responsibility for how someone drives your toon once you've given them the keys.
