You should hit them up about that. Maybe get a credit for something. Doing a pre-order then receiving it 6 days after the release is bullshit.

I wish I could play on our server. Never the fuck again will i preorder a game from BestBuy. Fuck them!
You earned yourself a new rank, soldier. I'm not even going to start playing until tomorrow night, so I'll be in the same boat. Also, we start out with no ammo packs, no meds, no paddles, no wrench, etc.

Beta worked great for me.

Buy it. Download it. Play it.
if the bake does not work, I'll send ya my key
If you get it working again, download RivaTuner, set your fan speed to 100%, and load on startup. Nvidia's drivers have our cards running way too hot over the past 18 mos. or so.

Ok, the card works again, cleaned fan and fins, fan is running at 100%, but I am not convinced it it is moving enough air. When I place my hand behind the case where the video card is, there is not much air movement, right now it is luke warm air, but if I play it is pushing out hot air, so maybe I need to mod the card cover. Gona play with placing a pusher fan over the fan intake.
Any other ideas?

Get GPU-Z and make sure your card's fan is running at 2900+ RPM, and that your idle temperature is around 60C. Under full load, these cards will run around 75-80 degrees. If it's nearing the mid to high 80s, then your case doesn't have sufficient airflow. Nvidia nTune is garbage, so don't use it for temps or fan control.; its numbers are typically inaccurate.

When i had a 7900gtx, I had it volt modded too overclock higher. It ran way hotter than stock, so I took the plastic cover off and zap strapped a 120mm fan right to the heat sink, it worked great.

This is the idle snapshot. I'll add another after a few rounds of BFBC2

Your card runs at cooler temperatures than most everyone else'. You should be fine; I baked my shenanigans, and its performance has been amazing ever since.

So EA has the server filters backward. If you check "Punkbuster" in the server browser, then your list will return servers with PB off. This is why most of our servers dwindle to empty; people check PB, and end up in PB-disabled servers. I'm guessing this is something they'll fix soon.
