The fact that a Mustang has to have forced induction to beat a Vette/Camaro is about the only thing that's standard there.

If GM had more rednecks up top, they'd sell a Vette without amenities, slap a dumbshit bodykit and a blower on it, and call it fast. The only difference between that and the Cobra, is that the Vette would be fast. I imagine Ford will have an answer for the '07 z06... standard 404hp, or LZ1/LZ2 with a 505hp 427. NATURALLY ASPIRATED.

since when did a Cobra have a body kit? never heard of such a thing. i was once lost in the GM realm long ago, but have awoken to real performance! thats why the so called "Camero" was discontinued! nobody wanted it! i really enjoy this subject with u g, its been going on for years with Ford and GM guys... and it will never change! keep the comments coming, it gets me motivated........ :twisted:

and to be completely honest, a Corvette is a sports car, the Mustang is not... thats what so many people fail to realise. there is a difference between a sports car and a muscle car! BIG DIFFERENCE. thats why GM tossed the camero to the side because they could not keep up with Ford in that area!

now the GT40, will beat up on a z06 all day long. or as Ford calls it "The Ford GT"!

That's an interesting gap in price. For the same amount, I could get a Lingenfelter Corvette. Any GT40 parked near a Lingenfelter is generally asked to leave.
